Aaron Dinham Shoots Cornwall Chalet At Whitsands
After hours of trawling the net looking for snaps of local attractions for a new folder on our gallery page I came across a stunning shot of Mount Edgcumbe House. After enlarging the image I found that the photographer’s name ‘Aaron Dinham’ rang a bell.I later realised that Aaron had gone to the same school as me and although I did not know him personally I thought Iike to see how the standard of his photography portfolio measured up to his shot of Mount Edgcumbe House. I was amazed; Aaron’s photos of Whitsand Bay, Rame Head, Chapel Porth and Perranporth in particular were incredible.
I spent the following morning with Lisa marvelling at Aaron’s work. We noticed that Aaron’s skills were not confined to landscape shots- his Portrait, Abstract, Surfing, Art and Urban pictures were of an extremely high standard. I set about tracking Aaron down in the hope that he might take a few shots of our chalet. I managed to contact him and we for him to shoot our Cornwall holiday accommodation.
On the day, outside conditions weren’t great but Aaron still got some outstanding shots of the inside of the chalet. Aaron promised to return to photograph the outside of the chalet when the weather was more settled. A fortnight later, brilliant sunshine, no wind and an afternoon changeover window at Penquite enabled us to get Aaron back for the outside shots. Aaron took a series of cracking shots of the Cornwall chalet and then we headed down to the beach in the hope we could make the most of the weather and get some good pictures of the sea, beach and cliff.
I then really made sure that Aaron would be late home for his tea by asking if he'd mind jumping onto our rib to get some snaps of the chalet from the ocean, Rame Head and panoramic shots of Whitsand Bay.Aaron thankfully obliged and my expectations were exceeded when Aaron handed me his camera and I saw for myself on the LCD screen how things were doing.
A day or so later the images had been resized for me and were ready for me to upload onto our site. I was so happy with Aaron's shots I thought it only fair that I write this article and give you guys a chance to see what he can do.I have already decided upon getting a huge canvas of one of Aaron's panoramic photos of Rame Head and Whitsands to be mounted on Canvas which will be placed above the sofa at the chalet. Our new brochure also features some of Aaron’s handywork.
